The Ezidi Genocide

The Ezidi community has suffered immensely over the years, and one of the most tragic events in recent history was the genocide perpetrated against them by ISIS in 2014. It is estimated that over 10,000 Ezidis were killed, and many more were displaced, enslaved, and subjected to unspeakable atrocities. Yet, despite the severity of this crime, many governments have been reluctant to officially recognize it as genocide.

Petition to the Swiss Government

The Swiss government is one of the countries that has not yet recognized the Ezidi genocide. However, we have an opportunity to change that. There is a petition circulating that calls on the Swiss government to recognize the genocide and to take action to bring the perpetrators to justice. We urge you to sign this petition and to help us make a difference in the lives of the Ezidi community.

By signing this petition, you will be joining a growing movement of people who believe that it is essential to acknowledge the suffering of the Ezidis and to honor their history and culture. You will also be sending a message to the Swiss government that their inaction is unacceptable and that they must take steps to support the Ezidi community and to hold those who committed these atrocities accountable.

Recent Recognition by the German Parliament

We should also take note of the recent decision by the German parliament to recognize the Ezidi genocide. This is a significant milestone, but it is only the beginning. We need to continue to push for recognition in other countries, and we need to continue to raise awareness of the Ezidi community and their history.

The Role of Ezidi Heritage

At Ezidi Heritage, we are dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich culture and traditions of the Ezidi people. But we also recognize that we cannot ignore the atrocities that have been committed against them. By signing this petition and standing with the Ezidi community, you will be helping to ensure that their voices are heard, their suffering is acknowledged, and their legacy is preserved.
